TRUXPO 2010

The British Columbia Trucking Association (BCTA) successfully organized it’s 13th biennial TRUXPO, Western Canada’s premier trucking industry trade show at Tradex Centre in Abbotsford, British Columbia on October 1 & 2, 2010.

TRUXPO 2010’s 153 exhibitors drew a total of 9,327 attendees over September 30 to October 2, filling 150,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor exhibit space with all the latest equipment for industry buyers to view but also for people who just wanted to see some great trucks, equipment, and related products!

Exhibits featured the latest technology in trucks, trailers, engines and other equipment as well as wide range of services to the transportation industry. In addition to the exhibits, TRUXPO 2010 included entertainment for the whole family and the chance to win exciting prizes of home electronics.

According to BCTA, an independent survey of attendees showed that 92 percent rated the show “Good” to “Excellent.” About 78 percent said they attended TRUXPO 2008 and 94 percent said they’d return to TRUXPO 2012. Attendees included transportation company owners and management, owner-operators, company drivers and safety and maintenance managers.

Road Today Media Group and Woodward Publishing teamed up to showcase the various publications and services offered by both organisations.
