The Toronto Chapter of ATSSA organized an informative and well attended
monthly meeting in November at the Paradise Banquet & Convention
Center in Concord.
The dinner evening was sponsored by Mack Canada Inc. Steven de Sousa, Power Train Sales Manager made the keynote presentation on the topic of Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology designed to meet the new 2010 emission regulation. The North American heavy truck industry has once again been challenged to develop even cleaner diesel engine solutions to comply with the Environmental Protection Agency's new standard for 2010. The evening also saw the presentation of the Mack awards to the top three apprentices in the Truck & Coach MAP Program jointly run by ATSSA Toronto and Centennial College.
